coyote moves in silence
On padded feet
to conceal his presence
Coyote knows the hidden seep
where water and survival
Bring him to encounter
one more day of life
When coyote reveals himself to you
be not afraid of him
Gaze upon him as a symbol
of a secretive, mysterious world
That will exist beyond your time.
